This shop is by far the best I have been to. The incredibly friendly, knowledgeable team adhere to every single need to make your experience perfect. This bridal shop is by far better than the smaller boutiques that you have to pay for. Thank you to the whole team for your amazing help, especially Mandy who made me think anything was possible with the adjustments to my dress. I was very nervous to start but the staff put me at ease, so helpful with the styles of dresses. Even thought I did not get a dress yet, would definitely be going back to see the lovely ladies.

I bought my MOTG dress and hat from here. Miranda was so kind and so helpful I would recommend this establishment to everyone. Everyone loves my dress in fact 2 other ladies have been after seeing my outfit and also purchased dresses and hats.

I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses with these ladies! They truly have an eye for what works. I visited with my wife to be as I had been feeling self conscious dress shopping since going through ivf and getting pregnant. My aim was to find a style I was comfortable in and then discuss prices. I found a gorgeous dress but when it came to paying I decided it was too much to spend with a baby on the way and needed time to think about it. After repeatedly saying no we cant afford it I felt pressured into the sale by the staff. They kept saying yes you can even after my card was declined. Even offering me Prosecco to try to placate me. Ive had a difficult pregnancy and I found the situation very distressing, having not eaten for a while with low blood pressure. I felt very unwell. We were made to feel like we had to find some way to pay even after I said we we cant get it. My wife to be felt awful as I was so upset that she paid on her card. After discussing it we called back the next day but they asked us to phone back when the owner was available. Once we got hold of her and explained unfortunately we simply couldnt afford it with a baby on the way. They have refused to refund us. The dress hasnt even left the shop. Its such a shame that what was initially a great experience has ended by us feeling taken advantage of. Were now massively out of pocket for a dress I dont even want to wear due to this terrible experience.

Shopping as Mother of the Bride with husband and daughters, arrived at appointment and fully welcomed, given mini tour of the shop and allowed to freely browse and choose outfits to try on. All ladies in the shop enthusiastic and encouraging, happy to help me in and out of outfits. A selection of shoes available in the room to try with outfits and hats borrowed to see the outfit as a whole. Felt fully supported and when asked for opinions, staff were helpful. I ordered shoes, hat and handbag-yes I could have got them cheaper elsewhere but I enjoyed the experience and decided I was worth it! Shoes were dyed to match my hat perfectly and took about 2weeks from ordering. I booked the very experienced shop seamstress about 5weeks before the wedding for the perfect fit to my body which took one week. I paid the seamstress 65 cash and collected my dress, steam cleaned on a hanger in a bag. Should my youngest daughter choose to marry in the future, I would definitely choose Brides of Solihull for their impeccable service again. I can now look forward to all those cameras on the big day.
