Pilgrims View Care Home in Snodland

My name is Karen Simmons and I am using my husbands review page to let you know how amazing Pilgrims Veiw Carehome and all their wonderful staff are. My mother was admitted in lockdown with alzeimers but as soon as restrictions were lifted I was able to visit her. The time they gave to my mum and I to be able to cherish every precious moment was above and beyond. When she died this year they were there for me with so much kindness and they will be part of those precious memories with mum. Thank you doesnt express enough how hard they tirelessly work to make every patient and their families feel so special.

My Nan moved in and I can honestly say I am so grateful for the care they provided in her last days and moments. She had been struggling to take care of herself and they gave her a quality of life back. She had been struggling with her basic needs, and they gave her dignity again. Dementia took away my Nan that cared about how she presented herself, and they brought her back a little. When she got poorly before she died, they were so supportive and considerate of us as a family. When she passed, they treated her with love, dignity and respect and went above and beyond in her final moments. The activities they provide day to day are great, and you can tell they are like family with the love they all have for one another. I cannot thank them enough for giving her a good quality life for her final months.

A lovely care home, the staff take great care to offer the residents a varied day, and treats and April the cat seems to enjoy the fuss and a snooze in the sun. Its lovely to see my Mum look up at her carers with some recognition and trust. Tracy and the team in the Admin office are very helpful and patient with any questions and all the carers I have met seen very kind and competent, ensuring client safety with infection control. It will be a wonderful day when the doors open and we can go in and share a cuppa with my lovely Mum, and be a more involved part of the Pilgrims family. Thank you to all the staff at Pilgrim's you are all amazing and very much appreciated. Pam (Jeans daughter)
