RUDE RECEPTIONIST! IM SORRY. WORKING UP TO A DECENT OF AMOUNT OF SPEED WOULD BE IDEAL. I CAME FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY 1 OLD WAITING HALF AN HOUR AND RECEPTIONIST GIVING SO MUCH ATTITUDE & RUDENESS! I will be escalating this further

Getting an appointment has now become a farce. You ring literally a second past 8am and in that second there have supposedly been so many calls that they tell you to try again later. After numerous attempts you eventually get onto the list waiting to be answered. Having waited over an hour someone decides to answer the phone and surprise, surprise they haven't got any appointments left. The online patient access is also pretty much useless, after setting up various passwords and different log ins you still need a letter from the GP surgery. Guess what you then ring them and still no one is answering the phone. It is hardly surprising that everyone goes to A&E

Doctors are in my experience largely excellent. However, making an appointment by phone is invariably a complete nightmare, and possibly because of this the admin staff aren't always the warmest when (if) you do ever get through. Most recent experience was being on hold for 20 minutes then being deliberately cut off.... I reckon it's a place staffed by good people who have been bent of of shape by being forced to strive for the unachievable.
