        What a wonderful place. Had a surprise 70th party there for 24 people . The food and service was excellent. Thank you to all concerned.

        Good basic pub with good beer and food. Landlord and Landlady very welcoming. They catered for 70+ people and did a very good job.

        One of the worse meals I have had for a long time. I had vegetable lasagne , with no vegetables. Two layers Id pasta with what tasted like a jar of tomatoes based sauce that had the occasional dice of red pepper, the whole dish was then covered with cheese. I have only given one star because the staff were pleasant and accommodated 7 of us without pre booking.

        Went on a Sunday, so food was limited to roasts, but these were very good value. Dog friendly and pleasant staff.
