Poplars Nursing Home

Well after looking at past reviews I was not keen.. but when my mom arrived at the home and up till present I could not fault in anyway all staff are absolutely fantastic.. and thats from management too housekeeping.the meals and variety my mom enjoys ,and interaction is ongoing with all residents and I have seen it with my own eyes and I go nearly every day I genuinely cannot fault it.fortunately my mom is going back to her own home shortly ,but if in the future mom needs care.. I wouldnt think twice on her return . Many thanks to you all,sorry I cant put everyones name thank you so much. Love from Lindas daughter Karen xxx

Had no choice when social workers got involved - thankfully our loved one has since transferred to a decent care home - prevented from visiting, please do not believe this care home cares - you wouldnt treat an animal this way

DO NOT SEND/LET YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! My Nan was neglected here where they left her severely dehydrated,Bed sores and an unexplainable wound on her leg.They leave the patients in bed with dirty nappies on for god knows how long.Disgusted with the place & the staff should be ashamed of themselves.THE PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN!!

populars nursing home has most defiantly improved staffing and staffing levels are great everyone is very friendly and care well for the residents I would defiantly recommend
