They reconditioned and repainted my alloys. They were loosing about 10psi a week as the alloys had been damaged from some tyre glue of all things. No problem with tyre pressure since at is 7 months ago. 7 months almost exactly. I am about 20 miles away and couldn't return the hire car and collect mine as our child had just been born, great service from the team to come out and swap the cars for us, much appreciated. Will use again if we need the service.

Burst tyre and cracked rim. They fixed my wheel in a couple of hours, then let me borrow a wheel to get me to the tyre shop for a new tyre. Excellent service. Thank you.

My son was having tyres fitted and a crack was noticed. He was advised to take it to this place in Horley to be welded where, they told him it would be 95+VAT. Stupidly, he paid straight away and was told to return later as it would take hours to do. Then, about 15 minutes later, they called and said there was a bad flat spot on the wheel WHILE THEY WERE WELDING THE CRACK and they could fix this for an additional 50+VAT. he called me and I said tell them to leave the whole job as the cost balanced against a decent second hand wheel just wasnt worth it. Then I thought hang on, why wasnt this seen upon inspection? I called them and challenged the owner about the obvious but before I spoke, I let him know I worked for Michelin for some 16 years and and politely requested my intelligence in technical matters not be insulted. It took him about 10 seconds before that happened. First thing, I asked why this wasnt noticed upon inspection of the wheel and his answer was two pronged. He said, we wont be able to see until we put the wheel on the balancer after the welding has been done. I have a number of issues with the first answer which were and asked, why was this not checked before he committed to paying this money? When a wheel is cracked my first thought would be, lets see if we can work out how this has happened and check the wheel for additional damage. Check to see if the tyre loses pressure, check it on a wheel balancer to see if it runs true, remove the tyre and clean the wheel and examine closely. Hmmmm.didnt tell this chap that I had already seen the photos my son was sent by the office but it IS a visible flat spot and thats that. How can the person welding the crack perform this task if he is blind? The second prong, with alloy wheels (again insulting my intelligence) you get wheel distortion when welded so you wont see any flat spots. So for those of you who have some savvy here, hes just committed to either, not seeing something already there or in performing the repair, created a flat spot on the wheel. I challenged this by saying, surely you have done these before? Surely this is factored into the cost? There will always be distortion when heated is applied so why hide the extras? It would have been honest to mention all this to promote a good review wouldnt you all think? Instead, they point blank refused a refund and refused to do the flat spot repair free of charge. My advice to this company wouldnt be worth mentioning but I hope this review is enough to deter atleast one person from spending ANY money here. Honesty in our experience does not exist and FYI wheel whatever you call yourselves when the business falls flat AGAIN! We purchased an almost new wheel with an almost new tyre delivered for 85 as we cannot trust the job was done properly so its up to your customers to decide whether they would happily drive along the motorway with this in mind, we wouldnt.
