The Gym Lounge Smallfield

The gym is nice, well equipped and compact but mostly a good selection. My issue is with the classes offered. There is a limited selection of classes, which are booked on a first come first serve basis. Classes are released for booking on Sunday afternoons, and if you miss this booking time, you won't get on a class for 2 weeks, unless, by some sort of miracle, you get a cancellation. I also think it's fairly overpriced, considering there's no swimming pool and the lack of classes. It's a shame, because we could do with a good local gym.

The gym lounge is fab! It's one of the most reasonably priced gyms I've seen but on a smaller more personal scale than some of the bigger chains. The team are so friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There's a full choice of machines and weights and various extra classes on offer too. You can refuel at the smoothie bar after your session with a drink or purchase a healthy ready meals and occasionally there are healthy treats on offer too!

Superb Gym with great equipment, superb staff and gruelling classes. Really recommend this place.
