Osfted gave them a bad review and now have taken all freedom away from students without warning. People have had to take out nose piercings which can cause infection if you just had one. I don't think Osfted finds the students a problem. It may be an issue but the teachers are also an issue in this.

I have three children who attend this school reception, year 5 and 7. This is a really bad school I'm desperately trying to take them out . I find the teachers are rude , there's no consistency with staffing or lessons, kids turn up wearing what they want and my oldest doesn't feel safe to travel there alone. Unfortunately slough has a massive shortage of school places so alot of children are having to go there that live in Langley/ colnbrook ( which is nowhere near) if you are given the option honestly avoid.

This msg is for all those believe in reviews . My son attending Grove for the last two years. When it started we have seen poor performance from the school and hence why Ofsted scored the school as inadequate. I thought this is the worst performing school in Slough. But I am wrong! However, when I done the research about all the other secondary schools in Slough ( accept Grammar schools) I can say Grove got the best teachers. Since the Ofsted report , the school leadership team is working really hard to build up the trust and improve the level. I have compared the lessons agains the other Secondry schools, Grove is second to none. The important thing is that the Leadership team is keeping a close eye on students behaviour and maintaining a good environment. I hope Grove will shine in few years time. My ask from parents is to give your honest feedback to the school and make accountable for their poor performance. This way you can support the school and be part of its success.
