My son switched during mid year from state school to Long Close, school provided very personal support. He was settled in very quickly. School teachers are very helpful and caring and my son is loving every moment of his school life.

As a former student of this school, it is not worthy of an outstanding school. Firstly, the school lunches were horrid, I used to come home from school very hungry, secondly the sports facilities are practically non-existent and its not like its made up in the academics because only 7 passed the Berkshire 11+ during my year.

My daughter has just recently started Reception, and she is taking to the school very well. The class sizes are small, the teaching and genuine empathy and care to the students is just incredible to see and hear back from my daughter. I have observed so many 1 star reviews often with the same review posted. I am glad I paid no attention and took the time like any sensible parent, to visit the school and take along my daughter so we could both assess the schools suitability. It is clear someone or some rival has an axe to grind and is maliciously posting 1 star reviews, some with no comments. I would recommend parents do their own due diligence and visit the school before they sing its praises or criticise. My personal experience is this is a fine school and staffed with excellent teaching staff and importantly, well behaved and raised children.
