Not impressed with the work out or level of service from Matt he seems more conscious and keen on sorting money out rather than doing his job. I cant recommend him at all wasnt impressed with his appearance and attitude. If i could give a zero star I would.

Matt has been my personal trainer for nearly 2 years now, i needed to lose weight and get fit , he has given me the help, guidance, confidence and motivation to achieve this. He is an exceptionally nice bloke who has helped me achieve so much especially with the run up to our wedding . although i have reached some goals I never thought I would,i continue to go training with Matt as it is a way of life and really enjoyable and great results. I would recommend Matt to anyone who is either new to training or is wishing to find a new personal trainer . Thank you

My brother and I started training with Matt to improve my brother's fitness and help him progress further in Reading FC's advanced squad. When I started, I had no idea about weight training or any sort of strength conditioning, being a dancer I never really thought it would suit me and I definitely didn't think I would be any good at it. But here I am a year and a half later swinging 16kg kettlebells and doing pistol-squats! The improvement I've seen in myself and my brother has been incredible. Matt's continued encouragement and vast knowledge has helped us both achieve goals we'd have never imagined even setting when we first started. His gym has all the equipment needed to focus on both cardio and conditioning and he always strives to make the sessions fun and interesting with new and challenging exercises. In addition to his expertise, Matt's friendly and caring character puts you at ease straight away and I look forward to every session where I know I'll always get a good workout and a good chat in too. Matt's not only a great personal trainer but a great friend too. I come out of every session with aching cheeks, as well as aching muscles, from laughing so much, would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

I've been training with Matt for over a year and have seen significant improvements in my health, body shape and overall fitness levels during this time. Just one example; I've gone from not knowing how to deadlift, to lifting 100Kgs in just a few months... When I started with Matt I was taking one or two sessions a week and had to keep things slow as I was recovering from a heart attack. Matt didn't push me beyond what my body was capable of at the time, but encouraged me to build confidence in my techniques and abilities, which allowed me to train harder and harder. In the last few months he has helped guide me through setting up my own small personal gym at home, recommending the right equipment to compliment the exercises we do together; when he could have just asked me to buy more sessions with him. He's also developed training and diet plans which I can continue on my own. He is constantly motivational, sending me messages when I can't make a session to inspire me to train at home or when I'm travelling; he pushes me when he knows I need to be pushed and as a result I'm now adding more and more exercises to my routine and lifting weights well beyond what I would have imagined I could less than a year ago.

I have been training with Matt for the past eighteen months. During this period, my body shape has changed considerably and I have reduced by 3 dress sizes from a size 16 to a size 10. I am fitter, healthier and more aware of my body than I have every been and this is all due to matt's continuous support, knowledge of exercise, diet and nutrition and encouragement. He is a fabulous trainer who really puts himself out to make the sessions interesting, rewarding, entertaining and enjoyable! He has a very well equipped personal gym which allows him to conjure up a huge variety of workouts to ensure that our sessions are never repetitive, predictable or boring. I would recommend Matt to anyone who is interested in achieving their goals and who is prepared to put in the extra effort themselves to make it happen.
