Walker and Campbell have been my Optometrists for many years. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Diagnostic equipment is kept up to date and everything is explained clearly. During Covid the care taken is excellent. I have total trust in all the staff regarding my eye health. I am now adding to my previous review. All the above remain true. Recently I have had two cataract operations. At my request, Tracy explained to me what would happen and put my mind at rest. She then did an eye test after the first operation so that the lens in my glasses would be correct before the second op. This is an optometrists that is highly professional, extremely well organised and I recommend it without reservation.

I have used High Street chain optician services for many years, but have not been entirely happy with their services on the last couple of occasions. Walker & Campbell were recommended to me by a number of people, and I am very impressed. The eye examination was much more thorough and detailed than any I have had in the past, and the results were explained to me in detail. All the staff were both friendly and professional; I did not feel at all rushed when selecting frames, and was able to collect my new glasses exactly a week later. Excellent service all round.
