One of the ladies was rude, not very helpful, l did not see the sign on the door saying no donations Which was pointed out to me, as l left a box of books and some quilt covers on the counter. Then the woman was asking me, am l going to pay for the books or what ! Prior to that l went back to my car to retrieve some more items, (still not knowing, that donations were not being accepted.) when l got back the box of books l left on the counter had gone. To be told they are out the back. If your shop is not taking donations, why take books (which can be highly infectious) I thought taking quilts etc would be ideal for cats and dogs bedding. The female refused the quilts but not the books. WHY ? .
