Premier Inn Slough

The rooms seem somewhat tired. Its a noisy hotel, more so than any premier Inn I've previously stayed at, be it from guests, ambient or the building. This week I've been unlucky enough to be placed directly above the smoking area.... Can't open the window for smoke. Most of the TVs have the hdmi or composite cables pulled out if you need to use them.... Noteworthy details: The Sainsbury's next door is a handy bonus

This rating is based primarily on restsurant experience. The room at the Premier Inn was to the usual standard. We had a table for 5 booked at 8. After we were seated, we didn't receive any table service for 25 mins. We had to go and find a server. After placing our order, just a mains, it took another hour for food to come. The reason given (with apologies) was busyness, however, in reality, it was understaffed. The meals were OK, but warm, not hot, and friends of ours at the next t table, had to send their pasta back, as it was fridge cold. We didn't order dessert for obvious reasons! An underwhelming experience.
