I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star, genuinely surprised it still operates as a B&B! The overwhelming smell of cheap bleach attempts to mask the stench of urine in the room. Filthy and vile are not strong enough words to describe the condition of the carpet in the room. Complained and got moved to a room with laminate floor, the walls here were full of damp! (see photos). The shower trickles water and is covered in limescale. The sink was blocked for 2 days continuous. The beds, unbearably uncomfortable. Spent most of the night awake due to the noise from the boiler. The TV has no remote control and there is no Internet access despite there being a router in the kitchen. (Are these not basic necessities in 2020?) Breakfast... got given Weetabix, milk, bread, the cheapest margarine and a box of 6 eggs for 4 people to share for a week. The kitchen is locked between 9pm and 7am so it's tough if you have to leave before 7 and arrive after 9. There is a large, filthy unstable dining table with ONE matching filthy chair in the family room for 4. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here!
