Handyman George

George has been a life saver for us many times since we moved into our first house in 2020. As first time owners, there were many things we didnt know how to do, such as installing appliances, installing blocblinds on vlux windows, installing ceiling speakers, mounting large tvs, drilling and mounting on brick, securing stair gates, electrical issues, etc etc. the list goes on. Handyman George has come out to help us move in and get settled in our home and continues to help us to this day as we make updates and changes. Hes really thoughtful and thorough, and always finds clever solutions to tricky problems. I can always trust the job is done right and reliable when George does it, which is super important as many of things in my house must stand the test of young children: both sturdy and safe. This is m 3rd attempt at finding a handyman, and it is the 3rd time that they were not what they say they are. handyman/ odd jobs man. I txt the number provided at 15.03 on the afternoon of the 8th March, within 4 minutes I had a reply asking me for details of the jobs I wanted doing. I did this right away and he said he could do them that afternoon after work I could not get home with such short notice it was snowing / heavy sleet, I presume after work means after 5 and it would be getting dark in any case I gave him 9 days when I could make myself available,his answer let me know when you are ready. ????? Again I txt saying any of the above dates,he replied the next morning at 09.35 ( more than 12 hours later) saying he was very busy but could come the next morning Friday the 10th for a few hours. I replied that at it least this was a start and we could schedule in the others jobs for another time 3 plus hours passed without a reply so I knew that he was just messing around Why did he not say from the onset that he was busy and not available at present instead of wasting my time, I too have to work. Not reliable,
