Frances at Opals helped us with all aspects of our mum's funeral, with sensitivity, respect and a 'can do' attitude. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped us to navigate our way through it all during a highly stressful time. The day was a great send off for our mum, and I can thoroughly recommend Opals.

Would thoroughly recommend Frances and Opal. Frances was there during the whole process of arranging the funeral. She made lots of suggestions and spent lots of time with us making sure we knew all the options, she also kept in touch and supported us through the whole process .It made it all so much easier. Frances led our service with great empathy and compassion, she also made sure she met the close family before we went into the service. She helped turn what was a very sad day into a lovely memory of a great farewell to our Mum. We were able to make it very personal with her help. Thank you Frances.

Frances recently led the funeral service for our Mum. As we had heard great reviews of her work we wanted her to take the service for us although this meant she needed to work with another funeral directors some distance from her base. She did an excellent job, managed all the liaison and supported me and my sister through the whole process. She guided and advised us throughout and led the service with real feeling and understanding for the family who were saying farewell to a great lady as well as celebrating her life. Frances shows great empathy and understanding for all involved and she helped us to work our way through a stressful time in a positive and caring way. Thank you Frances.

We are very grateful for the care we received from Frances at Opals Funerals. We asked for a non attendance cremation and Frances was able to carry out our wishes, she also put our minds at rest as to how mum would be cared for on her final journey. We were able to say our last farewell to mum in a beautiful room. We took some flowers and Frances kept them safe to take on the day of the cremation. So pleased we found Opals to care for mum. Frances was wonderful , very kind and considerate throughout. We felt all Mum's wishes were easily accommodated and our feelings appreciated when making our plans . We said goodbye to Mum yesterday with Frances and her team's professional support all went just as she would have wanted. Thank you to all who contributed.
