Buzz Maids Services

I saw the other bad reviews and thought I'd take a chance as they cover a large area - I should not have risked it. They were quick and efficient for booking in, but everything after was abysmal. The cleaners arrived late, and after they left I found many, many oversights. The worst part was that I paid extra for a carpet clean, and it looked as though they got the carpets wet, but no actual cleaning as the carpets still had a lot of the dust that was there before. I had to go over this with my own hoover when it was dry, and it came up fine, which makes it even worst that Buzz Maids left it in such a bad condition. Surely any 'carpet clean' worthy of the name could handle dust? I sent photos and emails to Buzz Maids raising these problems, and a month later still have had no reply from them - nothing to even acknowledge me - despite follow ups. Awful service, and a risk to take if you are booking an end of tenancy clean and have limited time to clean up after the cleaners... I would warn others to stay away, and find another service.

We had arranged for an end of tenancy clean in Basingstoke today. They were due to arrive at 1:30pm and had quoted my partner 190 for the work. At 1:42pm they called my partner to say that they would be a "little late" as they were at a job in Oxford, and as a result the earliest they could arrive was 3pm. After the call, my partner asked via text if there would be any discount, and was told that they were "looking into it". The next contact was at 3:06pm, asking if we could be at the property in about 10 minutes or so. Upon arrival at the property, two men came into the block of flats with us while we enquired about the discount that their colleague was "looking into". They had a brief phone call before saying that they could not offer a discount (despite it being almost two hours late due to their own planning/booking and no fault of ours), before changing their story to state that my partner had already received a discount (for reasons unknown) and that the quote would normally be 250. My partner had had no knowledge of this "discount" and we said to them that unless they offered a discount on the 190 charge due to them being almost two hours late, we would be looking to book with someone else. They offered us 10, which we turned down as it was basically nothing, and the conversation ended. We went upstairs to my partner's flat, while they went outside to their car. A few moments later, they let themselves back into the block of flats (they must have left the front door open as there is a code required that they did not have) and came back up to my partner's flat, knocking on the door aggressively and repeatedly calling her phone for the next 10-15 minutes despite receiving no answer - they were two large, fully grown men being aggressive, and my partner is a petite woman, so she was understandably fearful and anxious in this moment. They eventually went back outside, albeit hanging around the front of the building and ringing the flat's buzzer before eventually driving off. No money was exchanged because no service was given, but I would strongly suggest that people do not use this cleaning service as they were unprofessional, rude, aggressive, and their behaviour was absolutely disgusting.
