Beautiful, remote and peaceful setting. Lovely Georgian Manor House set in 100s of acres of arable landscape. The property has been in the family since it was built in rhr early 19th century and it has the most welcoming atmosphere. High ceilings and well-proportioned rooms. The current hosts - Peter and Jodie could not be more welcoming and obliging and are genuinely good company. Would return in a heartbeat if in the area again.

Stunning property in beautiful countryside. The perfect location to escape from it all. Hosts Pete & Jodie made us very welcome. Lovely breakfasts in the house's stunning dining room. A short drive to the nearest town with great pubs, will definitely be back!

Whatever superlatives we use to describe our 6 night stay cannot do justice to the experience of staying at Sloley Hall. It is a absolutely stunning Georgian house set in beautiful open countryside but close to Coltishall. Its grandeur and magnificence are obvious but what impressed us most is the relaxed informality of the hosts and owners Pete and Jodie. (The property has been in his family since 1815). The service is truly exemplary and is all carried out by Pete and Jodie, including the cooking and cleaning etc. If you enjoy an English breakfast theirs must rank as one of the best. All made using local produce including free range eggs from the chickens that you will see wondering the grounds. Although it is not advertised (yet), we also enjoyed a 3 course dinner, courtesy of Masterchef, Pete. It was truly amazing and we would highly recommend. Bring your own wines as they dont have a liquor licence (yet). Everything about this place is 5 stars +. Weve no plans to return to Norfolk in the immediate future but when we do we will definitely be staying at Sloley Hall. In the meantime we will recommend to anyone whose prepared to listen..and those that dont. Thank you Pete, Jodie..and Peggy, for looking after us so royally.
