I'm biased as I look after the church but it is a real gem. Interested in the post below. If we have a service on, please just come in....everyone is welcome at any time (and we always do great coffee and biscuits!) I am not sure about the Kelpie stone comment.. we have some medieval cross slabs in the tower, the knightly effigy of Wyville and a great dragon story....but no kelpies, as far as we know.....!

Lovely quiet setting well cared for and obviously loved by its congregation. Very active socially too.

It's a beautiful church : Norman origins and steeped in history : it's recently had the tower restored and many of the gargoyles and grotesques. Unfortunately I couldn't get inside the church as there was a service in progress so wandered around the well tended graveyard. It boasts one of only two Kelpie Stones in Britain the other is in Northumberland. This dates back to pagan times . I intend to visit the church again and explore the interior as there looks to be some amazing stained glass .
