        After a lovely long Downs walk this is a welcome break. Keen and helpful staff very clean and smart conversion of the village Blacksmith building. Local produce and Forge branded goods on sale alongside busy modern styled cafe. Menu for morning breakfasts to 11 then lunches of fresh sandwiches jacket potatoes etc... Large tables for outside seating dogs welcome and doggy ice cream too. Disabled access good but loo is far end of seating area making access possibly embarrassing asking people to move but they have adjusted table layout making it easier. More outside seating added. We keep going back and have done over five years now. Parking: On street parking can be busy but is free.
