        We had a great time staying at Lowdale Cottage. It was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and really comfortable. The location is amazing: adjacent to the Esk Valley Walk so there are countryside walks right from the front door, and yet its just a few miles from the cafes, shops and beaches of Whitby and Sandsend. The rural setting meant great views of the night sky and we loved listening to the local owl and the occasional toot of the steam trains. Wed highly recommend a stay at Lowdale Cottage.
