Luxury Nails

Made an appointment weeks in advance as I knew that my schedule before my upcoming holiday would be tight. I wanted to make sure that I had plenty of time to get everything done before my holiday. I arrived on time for my pedicure and was made to wait over 50 minutes passed my appointment time before they started my pedicure. I was very annoyed and disappointed as I was worried about my parking time running out and also about being late for my next appointment. No apology for the wait and quite frankly a shoddy , rushed pedicure that wasn't up to their usual standard. I'm hoping that this was a one off because if this happens again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

So pleased with my nails. A great experience. Service was really friendly too. These cost me 43 from having an old set of acrylics taken off and a new set on, for reference.

Truly believe this business quality has gone downhill in the past year. Friend and I turned up for acrylic nails - mine for a wedding and party. Usually the quality is OK standard (used to be far better) but really disappointed this time around. From experience, we didnt book an appointment as we knew they would not allocate time for them anyway. No cuticle prep anymore; very rushed nail prep in general; woman who originally glued on my extensions had no idea what she was doing, which was obvious to both of us, and became apparent later how poorly she had stuck them on when the 2nd woman that came to work on my nails had two extensions come off from filing and buffing them. When I have had nails here before in the past year, it was clear the effort they put in to make the nails all of very similar shape/length, but this has since lacked. On top of this my friend was not asked what length she would even like her nails to be (she often goes quite short due to her job and hobbies) and ended up with relatively long even after asking for them to be cut down. They have also begun to switch between people who work on nails to try and get more people in and out of the nail bar, and we had a total of 3 people work on both our nails. While this may not seem like that big of a deal, it causes your nails to be very inconsistent as every person seemed to be of different ability. To top it all off, these 45 acrylic nails I paid for, I had one snap in half without much force on it less than a week after (went to have it fixed and had a similar experience) and multiple other nails have had their colour chip off significantly. Its safe to say neither of us will be going back here as for the price we pay, it is extortionate for such lack of quality and bad service. Services: Nail extensions, Acrylic nails
