Having recently moved from East Sussex to Lincs I had no idea who to take my instruments to for repair. Several people recommended Ron and with good reason. I took two damaged trumpets to him for dent removal, bell straightening and general maintenance and received excellent service. Having only a few days in which to complete the job didn't seem to present a problem to him and my repair work was done quickly and expertly, with the added benefit of an ultrasonic clean. Ron is a very charming man who thoroughly checked the instruments, spotting a long standing recurring issue with my first valve and resolving it. He talked me through all the procedures he had in mind in advance of taking on the job and telling me the cost. I am most impressed with his standard of workmanship and will definitely return to him with any of my instruments needing attention. Thanks Ron for a first class service. I contacted Ron regarding my trumpet valves moving slowly, an issue than had been plaguing me for months. Within 5 minutes in his workshop he had given me his diagnosis. The work was completed the very promptly and communication throughout was great. Upon picking up the trumpet it was clear that not only was Ron correct with his diagnosis, the work he had done made the trumpet feel better than new. He had also looked after the instrument as if it was his own. The attention to detail when polishing up the trumpet for collection was incredible. I will be taking all of my horns to Ron in the future and be recommending his work.

I took my Roundstamp cornet for a deep clean and service. Ron took the time and trouble to talk me through what he intended to do and assured me that it would look good on the outside as well. WOW, my cornet gleams with hardly a sign of the micro scratches which were present previously and even the mouthpiece didn't escape his attention. It feels and plays like new. Thanks Ron.

Booked my daughters clarinet in for a service and to fix a couple of small faults. Wow, What a transformation! It is clear to see that Rohan takes pride in his work. The attention to the little details was incredible. Very happy, and highly recommended.
