I currently work at the above named home, and I strongly disagree with the 1 review already made. I have worked there for 3 years and it has been a great 3 years. I work among a team of fantastic staff. You only have read the homes CQC report to know how well it works, that's all down to the manager and the staff.

I happened to work here for three months and if it were possible to give this place less stars I would. It has be the worst experience of my life, the management were awful and the staff were just as bad. Each and everyone of them were extremely two faced. Where to begin... Well I came from Cambridge, a professional in IT working for the Addenbrooke's hospital never had any trouble. Fancied a change and moved to Lincolnshire, however there weren't many jobs for IT so went for a filler job, a job which you go there for a few months and then brush it off your shoulder. Unknown to me of the horrors that awaited at this job, I took it. After a two weeks of being in the job, straight away you see the real side of the staff. Of course, there were a few who were actually genuinely nice but those who were nice actually turned out that they hated the job as much as I did. So once I joined, they straight away had me manual handling and everything, no training before hand except for an ungodly amount of reading on the laptop (never seen anything like it and which everyone just clicks to the next page anyway without reading it. After a while they started complaining that I left the workplace without authorization, well I asked the team leader who was on and told her that my electric had cut at home for some reason could I place go home and check it out. Everything was fine and I did, to my surprise the next week I was called in and warned about it and "told off like a child". Next I was told that I was spending too much time with the clients and not cleaning... another to I was told by the manager that I was being to polite with one of the clients parent and that "you don't know this women like we do, she doesn't deserve polite". Staff were always swearing in front of the clients and then when I slipped a word out, I get told off again. I was 5 minutes late to work because my bike broke on the way her and I was then told that my mode of transport isn't sufficient and that I should get a drivers license. I became depressed due to the lack of money and started tearing up and asked to phone my family, there were no team leaders or managers available so asked one of the other members instead of being in front of the client. Basically being professional and again told off for that. Accused of sleeping on duty, went to the swimming pool with on of the clients and a staff member and was told to wait in the waiting area... they were in the swimming pool for two hours and I had no phone no money and nothing to occupy myself. I still state that I never fell asleep, may have closed my eyes but I was completely aware. I wouldn't keep my phone on silent, yes and I admit I will not keep it on silent as I have a pregnant wife at home who suffers from extreme anxiety and hyperemisis who was puking every 10 minutes and was hospitalized for 6 days because of it. I'm sorry but I don't want her to have to phone the manager and then they decide whether or not to tell me. I want to be the first to know that she is going into labor not the bloody manager. But in the end I was told "not our problem". After spending two months there and the day came that they called me in to the office and told told me all of this plus a few more absolutely stupid reasons. They fired me and then told me that if I would like to work the next two weeks more, I could... wow. Leaving that office became the best day of that whole year, I never thought I would be so happy to be fired. Soon after I found another job as a Team Leader working for an IT company in Lincoln. Leaving there still is the best thing that ever happened to my and I honestly could have taken it further and possibly gotten my job back but I told myself, why on earth would I ever want to go back there. So this is my review of this place, and I must say good bye voyage care... you will not be missed.. and the silly thing was I received an email few months later asking I would like to attend an interview there and the ironic thing was it was sent by the person who sacked me...
