Disappointed to find only one cask ale available between 2 bank holiday weekends, but friendly staff and tasty snacks.

First time visiting and unfortunately would never return. Ordered food and was told 10 minutes later that it was a 45 minute wait for food. We decided to stay and when the food came it was lukewarm at best. The peas were watery and cold, and the fish was old and mushy. The bread and butter were the best part. Left the pub and felt very ill a few hours after, cutting our day in the town short. I would definitely avoid in future.
