The Lightwell Practice

Ive been having therapy sessions with Caroline for just over 2 years, and the transformation to my mental health and overall well-being during this time has been remarkable. The sessions with Caroline have allowed me to become grounded and finally feel secure in myself, and it is her calming and understanding nature that has facilitated this for me. Our therapy sessions have always felt like a safe space for me to explore my feelings and fears, and reflect on these in a constructive way, enabling me to grow through a lot of trauma and find security and inner peace. Thank you Caroline for all you have done for me.

We contacted Dave after a really difficult time in our relationship. After 6 months of counselling we are at a place we never thought we could reach together. This wouldnt have been possible without the care and gentle humour he provided. It was such a safe space to talk and listen to each other and grow together. We cant thank him enough for the support.

Going to the Lightwell Practice has been totally life-changing for me. It's hard to imagine now the state that I was in when I picked up the phone and agreed to have a session at the Lightwell Practice. But I did make the call and I spoke to the lady who runs the organisation who listened to how I felt and recommended that I spoke to Dave. What can I say, I truly believe that Dave changed my life. There's not one moment or piece of advice that I can point to but having his counsel and support took me from a life that was heading in the wrong direction - to one that contains hapiness and achievement that I had not expected. The peace and joy I now feel is way beyond I could have dreamed of. I feel the lessons learnt, or at least the mode of empathy and acceptance that was shown to me by Dave, are ones that I hope I can reflect to any people I meet in the future. Dave was a rock during Covid and during a chapter of my life that I only now realise was more damaging than I even thought at the time. Thank you Dave, I would do anything for you and I will never forget how you changed my life. That's an awful lot more than I ever expected. Forgive me if this sounds OTT but the transformation is real and I am absolutely blessed to live a life that I never thought I could when in the depths of despair.

After my weekly sessions with Dave I finally was able to move on from my past traumas. Hes so easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable in the surroundings. I was finally able to put in place all the things Id wanted to do, but didnt have to confidence to do them. I would definitely recommend The Lightwell practice!

My problems were solved due to the high professionalism of Dave. He had a great understanding what exactly were my concerns. Thank you for your great work Dave, you teach me how to work with myself on my own.
