        An absolute breath of fresh air for me when it came to managing my sale and purchase. Hilary and Sarah were amazing throughout the process and updated us throughout the entire process. Extremely quick, efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended!

        This company does business the way the Queen of Hearts conducted the Knaves trial in Alice in Wonderland: 'Sentence first - verdict afterwards.' They completed the work a consultation and 2 months later sent their estimate, along with a late request to sign the contract. The pricing information I was given was sparse and as transparent as mud, so I challenged the inflated bill. But Mewies shamelessly defended it, conjuring up an imaginary narrative of what had been agreed. In the end, they cut the bill by more than a third and lost a client.

        John Mewies was the duty solicitor at Skipton Police station when I was arrested. He gave me no instruction whatsoever and let me talk myself into trouble. Had he simply told me to answer no comment to every question I would have got off. Instead I was convicted. I don't believe he was so incompetent not to know this. I believe he was in collusion with the Police to convict me.
