Tilly's Den

This was our first time in Tilly's Den and we were very impressed. The apartment is centrally located in Skipton with very good dedicated parking and it's elevation provides very good views across the town to the moors beyond. The apartment is well equipped with everything to a very high quality and standard. We were so impressed with our stay there that we are already planning a return visit.

Re Tillys Den.. We love visiting Skipton so it was a bonus to find such an on trend place to stay. Its in the centre of Skipton but so quiet. From a barrier entrance to the building and then a secure parking bay in the basement with a lift to the apartment, it already ticks our boxes. ( No worries re car security) Its a very beautiful and spacious warm apartment. Well thought out and short of nothing. Bedrooms, bathrooms and whole apartment is spotless , Balcony fab with furniture. The rooftop views day or night are very pleasing on the eye..I almost imagined Mary Poppins/ Fiddler on the roof appearing.! We stayed Christmas 22 . Swear I saw Father Christmas going down a chimney.. it felt truly magical!!! Skipton is a vibrant market town with a castle , canal, quirky shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and cobbled streets. This is our 2nd visit to Tillys Den our 3rd is booked and confirmed. Cant wait. Must say a nod and a big thankyou to Andrea/ Ashley (host) who makes this possible. Xx

Hi, I dont normally write reviews, but I feel this place deserves a special comment. Im always bothered leaving my car at hotels and apartments, but it really wasnt a problem here. The private under ground garage was perfect and the lift was right there. The images of the apartment dont do it justice, so beautifully presented it was so comfortable in every way,there attention to detail was spot-on. Both inside, but especially the balconys were just perfect, and surprisingly quiet to say we were right next to the main town. Over all fantastic and cant wait to stay again

My partner and I had the most incredible stay at Tilly's Den. I chose Tilly's Den to be the perfect location that I got down on one knee and proposed to my partner. The apartment feels magical, high above the rooftops of Skipton with incredible views of the sun setting over the Dales, it provided the perfect back drop for our special day. Right in the heart of Skipton town centre, we were a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle but without any of the noise. The apartment is beautifully decorated, full of light and has 2 balconies that get sun all day long. We will definitely be back next year to celebrate our year anniversary of being engaged. Thank you :)

From the moment we entered the 2nd floor apartment Tillys Den apartment we were totally overwhelmed. The open plan lounge with floor to ceiling windows is certainly breathtaking looking out to the roof tops and skyline beyond. We couldnt wait to get settled in to enjoy the minimalist styling, amazing colour schemed features & obvious comfy seating. Within the spacious kitchen area everything had been thought of for the convenience of the Hosts guests. From the most comfortable breakfast bar stools to the up to the minute electrical appliances. For us an added luxury being the latest Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The dining area with its unique designed circular table & beautiful feature light fitting certainly added to the Apartments Wow Factor. In the bedrooms we found the beds extremely comfortable with sumptuous white cotton bed linen. For us the pillows provided were perfect. Floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes adds to the light & airy feel whilst underfoot the grey carpet complements the colour palette. The en-suite with walk-in shower and the family bathroom are fitted to a very high standard with neutral tiling and heated electric towel rails. The brand new apartment within Cavendish House is a perfect location in Skipton. The 900 year old Castle & the walk through Skipton woods that surround the castle are minutes away. Take a trip on a Canal boat, walk along the tow path of the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Not too far away drive to Bolton Abbey. The town of Ilkley , nearby village of Grassington or take the train to Leeds from Skipton station. Within easy walking distance of this luxurious apartment there is a choice of numerous restaurants, cafes & bars that is if you can actually resist leaving the relaxing sanctuary of Tillys Den & we Cant wait to visit again.
