Crossways Fish Shop

Please do not use this chip shop! Waste of 20! Ordered fish and chips twice and a spam fritter, curry sauce and mushy peas! Well, firstly they couldnt wrap the food, the fish batter was so greasy it was inedible, my husband took one bite out of the spam fritter and spat it out! It all tasted as if it was cooked in old oil! Do not waste your money!

Karen by name, Karen by nature. I popped in to ask what time they were open until and was told read the door I then asked for a menu to take back to my caravan so our friends and family could choose, she said its on the wall. So I go back to my family and friends to tell them whats on the menu. I then go and place an order. The young girl had no clue how to speak or take an order, she couldnt read her own writing. An older women just stood there and Karen was popping in and out on the phone deep frying everything. Food order was all wrong, everything came battered (even the burgers are battered) asked if my food had salt and vinegar she said did you not ask to which I replied do you not offer like most places state would you like salt and vinegar. Was charged 30p for Wi-Fi charges because I paid by card (never heard of this before) disgruntled as they wanted cash. then handed me my food just in the paper, no box no bag just loose.
