Lovely Sunday lunch at The Goat Inn with friends. Booked in advance. Sat in the dog-friendly area. Good range of ales. Quick service and reasonable prices. Beef was very tender. Vegetables plentiful and well cooked although could have done with some carrots and peas. Treacle pudding and custard to finish was also great. Other menu choices also looked very tasty. Very friendly staff. Quaint and cosy building. Good play area for the kids outside. Lots of parking. Recommended. Update: Spent the night in our campervan. Reasonably flat pitch. Okay facilities. Another great meal in the pub. Thanks again.
