Saltburn Miniature Railway

Very nice miniature railway, the people who work here are very passionate about their job and are also very friendly. Would recommend having a go if in the area, the car park it's next to can get very busy so make sure you get there early!

Unfortunately when we arrived in the car park the train wasn't running as it was midweek. We were in the area Mon to Fri and it didn't start operating until we were back home I'm sad to say. Since we were here last the car park has been re-tar macked and surrounding area made nice and tidy and better presented. On the sad side of things the men's toilets had both urinals out of order and so you had to queue to use the only cubicle available which was annoying. There is a caf on the corner as you enter the car park that sells hot and cold food and an ice cream kiosk, with plenty of seating inside and out that gets quite busy at certain times of the day. Very relaxing atmosphere, well worth a visit otherwise.
