I have spent a short 24hrs at White Gables and while the building is a little dated, it is kept absolutely spotless. I recently visited the care home with my partner to visit her loving grandad whom was receiving palliative care. We arrived at about 3am after driving for 3 hours and without any hesitation the staff were on hand to help and make us welcome and comfortable. They focussed every action around her grandad and his loved ones, putting us all & grandad first at every conversation, no ask too much. Despite the recent challenging times within care homes, the attitudes of all the staff were stalwart & unfaltering. Thank you all at White Gables. You will not be forgotten and thank you for caring so much for grandad.

My lovely grandad passed away on January 31st at White Gables. He had been a resident for about 6 weeks (sorry if I get the timing wrong). I had travelled from London to be with him at the end and was able to stay by his side for 3 days. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the incredible care he was given. The carers and nurses truly not only cared about him but also me, and treated him with the utmost respect and dignity. They looked after me when I was struggling with what was happening and they always talked to him and about him with such compassion. The staff at this home are second-to-none and anyone would be lucky to be a resident here, or relative of a resident. Thank you to every member of staff who cared for grandad and me over the past 4 days. The unbearable was made easier because of the love you showed us. I will never forget you and what youve done for us. Thank you. We love you. Keep caring.
