Hawthorn Medical Practice

Today Monday the 30th of January I had to go down to the surgery due to getting a text about a review on my medication which I had ordered that day, when I started to ask the person on the desk what it was about. her attitude was absolutely disgusting. she accused l me of not understanding. She is the most ignorant person in that surgery. I had to make sure my drugs were ordered as I need them due to having epelepsy She then started going on about she can't tell me on what time I have to pick up my prescription Which I did not even ask her about. If she can't handle being asked a simple question she should not be allowed to work on the front desk. I walked out feeling as if I was just something that she had just stood on , a very ignorant woman.

Generally ok in past visits one of the receptionists can be very curt and rude and not very helpful, everything seeming to be too much trouble. it is not the first time this has been noted. please allocate name badges visible to patients so we can name these people it is not fair to tar all with the same brush as most are lovely, with the exception of this one which lets your practice down.

Unbelievable bad service, my husband saw a nursing practitioner this morning Friday 10.15am said the prescription would hit direct to Morrisons after 2 visits today and I phoned them at 7.30pm No prescription has been issued by the surgery and they are not open till Monday. Animals get treated better at the Vets than here.

I have spent 35 minutes trying to fill in the medical details I needed to try to get a booking with the Hawthorn Medical Centre. It is said that it it is easier to go on line than contact the surgery via phone. I am afraid to say it is nearly impossible on both accounts.
