Rooms: The cleanliness was exceptional, the diningnroom had the morning sun and was an exceptionally well maintained and looked after hotel Nearby activities: Funfair, beaches, nature reserve Walkability: On the doorstep of everything Skegness has to offer...from the quiet nature reserves at gibraltar point to the funfair and seafront pier (made in 1881)...all with 5 to 10 mins

Very disappointing. We booked the family suite, with bunks in one room and a bdle bed in the second. on the first floor. This room was not available on our arrival due to refurbishing. It had been out of service all summer she said, which is strange as we only booked 2 week ago. The room they offered could not in any way be classed a family room. Would not stay here again because they knew this room was not available when we booked. Then tried to fob us off with an inferior room. We were lucky to get in at the "Ivy dene", who were brilliant, and i would definitely stop there again
