The Craigside

Rooms: Room 3 nice size room well furnished but bed was rather soft and low for me but my husband slept like a log. Nearby activities: Wide choice of activities ideal for families. As we visited in April quite a few of the rides etc were still closed. Walkability: Everywhere in Skegness is on the level. Easy to walk to town and seafront. Food & drinks: Kat was very pleasant and quick to serve us and breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice. Nothing was to much bother.

Andy and Kat provided us with fantastic service at breakfast which was very lovely food. They also made us feel very welcome and we're always happy to point out recommended pubs/restaurants around Skegness. The room had plenty of space and facilities and was very clean however... beware of the dreaded tap! The bathroom sink had a very silly design as every time we let it run, the water would just shoot out without warning and soak us through. The shower was also unsafe and not fit for use as there was no door on it and the water nearly flooded the whole bathroom. Parking outside the hotel was also very difficult and you had to fight for the best space. Overall however the Craigside was a beautiful place to stay, especially with their lovely marine fish tanks. Thank you Andy and Kat, we will be back to stay shortly.
