        My wife and I came quite close to dying on the beach just north of the powerplant. Summer of 1979, we were stationed at RAF Woodbridge, and lived in Leiston. We enjoyed going to the coast. One day, we were perhaps 2 km north of the plant, the two of us, and four punks rolled up on us in a Range Rover. They got out, and it was pretty spicy for a bit. They made some comments to my wife. I picked up a large rock, and was quite prepared to use it. I told them that no matter what happened, they get a smashed windshield (windscreen, to them), and questions would be asked. To. This.
