Went on an organised tour into the process of making their own cider at this working farm with lots of information from Bill who really knows his stuff. From gathering the apples from the trees in the orchard, to the machine they use to pick up the fallen apples, the process of fermentation, bottling & packaging some 60,000 lites a season. Seeing the fledgling trees that will bring a harvest of apples in years to come, finished off with a delightful ploughman's and samples of their still and sparkling ciders, with an option to buy produce and ciders from their Shepherd Hut. A wonderful experience and well worth a visit. They also have outdoor music/camping festivals coming up throughout the summer.
