        I had a whine in 4th gear on my Astra Van. After a lot of searching I came across WG Motorworks who had an impressive write up about the repair on their website, and looked like the experts in these types of boxes whereas others were only prepared to sell me a whole gearbox rather than fix the current one. WG replaced all of the bearings in the gearbox and the problem has totally gone, at a fraction of what some other garages wanted. The gear engagement also feels a lot more solid now. Finally, it was all done in a day! Would definitely recommend for Astra repairs. Service: Transmission repair

        My little Corsa developed the M32 gearbox bearing issue. Google led me to WG Motorworks. I was told it would take 4 hours. I drove the 2h drive down and was back on the road 2h30m after I arrived. The service I received was excellent. They showed me how bad the bearings were, told me everything they did and still give a 1year/18k miles warranty. Who could ask for more? Service: Transmission repair
