R High & Sons in Sittingbourne dealt with my husbands funeral. They were efficient, kind and patient. During a very difficult time they were helpful and calm. I recommend them to anyone who is facing organising a funeral for a loved one.

R High & Son based in Sittingbourne, have been my familys chosen funeral service for as long as I can remember. I contacted them immediately following my elderly mothers death in February and they were very helpful and supportive. Myself with members of my family, initially met with Jo as soon as we had the death certificate, and although this being an especially difficult time for us, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism as she was able to advise us on a choice of arrangements available to us that could accommodate both my mothers wishes and the familys expectations. The funeral was planned to take place at the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing, and Matthew had been assigned to head up the proceedings and called me on two occasions beforehand to confirm whether there was anything else that I needed and to explain what we can expect on the day. One of these calls was on the afternoon before the day of the funeral as final confirmation of the arrangements which provided assurance and was very much welcomed at the time. The funeral itself exceeded our expectations, although helped by the good weather, it was no less because of Matthew and his team on the day that contributed to its success. I would highly recommend R High & Son for their expertise, compassion, and customer service that they provide at a particularly difficult time.

My family and I received excellent service from High and Son, During both the arranging and on the day of my late fathers funeral. I dealt mostly with Samantha and Karl who were really helpful and sympathetic. The other members of staff were also, equally good. On the day of the funeral, the staff were without fault and the service went off without a hitch. Well done everyone and many thanks.

We could not have asked for a better send off for my wife. The attention to detail was stunning and flawless. The staff were friendly, thorough and made us feel so at ease and welcome throughout the whole process. They made what was/is a hard time much easier. Highly recommended

I was recommended to Highs by a family friend, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional but compassionate funeral directors. Jo, Carl and the team made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The support and care they gave me and my family throughout the arrangements and then the funeral was second to none. I would particularly like to commend Carl for his consideration and kindness on what was a very difficult day. Very many thanks.
