The Beaumont

Have been popping to and fro to Kent for work past three months. And as I was only here half a week, work popped me in a B&B, what an absolute delight! Warm cosy rooms, with all the facilities, fresh towels, toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful old building full of character. Gorgeous little dining conservatory to enjoy a well cooked and presented breakfast. It's been a real little sanctuary at the end of a long day at work.

The hosts are lovely and I received a warm welcome. I stayed in room 9 this was a twin ensuite room . The WiFi is fantastic and really easy to log onto. A really good breakfast is provided that is included in your room rate with both cooked and continental options available. Because this is a really old building the access in and out of the building and also to the bathroom in my room is not step free, so if you are of limited mobility bear this in mind. Also the shower cubicle in room 7 has a very slippery floor when wet, with no grab handles fitted in the cubicle. Good facilities in the room are provided with complimentary Coffee and Tea with biscuits and Hot chocolate provided, and shower gel, hand wash and hand lotion are provided in the bathroom. Everywhere is spotlessly clean too. All in all a really good if a little dated B n B and a lot better customer experience than the chain hotel located next door.
