Many thanks to Donna for helping me with my on line banking after me being a fraud victim. Spent a long time on the phone without success then the lovely Donna sorted it in 30 minutes . She's a gem.

I have been a Lloyds customer for many many years and this week I found myself needing to do a CHAPS payment for a large amount from my account. I went into the branch and bare in mind a self confession I am not the easiest person to deal with as I am quite assertive and know what I want. When I got into the branch I went to the customer service desk and asked the lady there (Donna) if I could speak to someone who was experienced in CHAPS payments. Donna said no problem I can do that for you. Donna took all the details of the payment and printed me them off to double check as they have to be correct or the payment bounces back. For a CHAPS payment 2 managers have to authorise it and the other manager was repairing the cash machine so was busy. I said to Donna I will wait until the other manager has done as I want to make sure the payment is made. Donna assured me that she would see it through before she left for the day. Yes I have heard that before many times and the task has not been completed. How wrong I would be on this occasion. I did leave it with Donna and I left and went home. Donna said that she would process the transaction and if there was any issues they would contact her direct either today or she would check first thing in the morning and she would contact me. Donna rang me just before leaving for the day and said that she hadnt heard anything so everything should be ok and the money would leave my account by 5pm. Still not convinced that the transaction would be made by the close of business I waited and kept checking my account. A few minutes past and my phone rang again it was Donna she said I have just called to let you know that the money has left your account and the transaction is complete. I was over the moon not only that the transaction had been completed but that Donna had took the time to check again before leaving for the day and rang me just to put my mind at ease. Thank you Donna your customer service was impeccable and you should be recognised for that which is why I am taking the time to write this review. Excellent !!
