I have known Charlene for a few months, meeting her just after I arrived in England. With our South African backgrounds in common and our mutual love of Jesus, we quickly became friends. Charlene did a coaching session with me this morning as I am job-hunting, in itself not an easy task but when you're my age and you've been in lockdown for 18 months it is far more difficult. During the coaching session Charlene helped me to focus, to have a goal (even a small one) to work towards and to go in one direction instead of having a "rolling stone gathers no moss" mindset. I loved that she listened and asked questions about things I hadn't thought of and showed me choices that I could make. I really enjoyed the session and would love to continue working with her.
