Mr Hughes proved to be a reliable and extremely competent plumber. He came at the agreed time of day with his assistant Bradley to fix my toilet flush which had ceased to work, and to replace the washer in my kitchen mixer tap, and to replace the taps in my bathroom sink. The toilet siphon needed a new seal and arm and some other adjustments. The bathroom taps on examination needed replacing rather than just needing new washers, and the mixer tap which had been dripping and making a noise was fixed. New bathroom taps were obtained by Mr Hughes and all the work completed in one afternoon at reasonable cost. I have had no problems with the work to date and can recommend Mr Hughes for your domestic plumbing jobs.

Employed this plumber to replace 2 very small radiators, and repair small crack in an external pvc narrow guage pipe. Hughes invoiced me for 8 hours Labour + parts. I thought this was excessive & politely asked if he could reduce the invoice in some way? I expected a simple yes or no, but was surprised to get abuse, threat of COUNTY COURT ACTION if I didn't pay the full amount in 24 hours. He hand delivered a letter threatening the COURT ACTION, and used his SMART PHONE to record my receipt of this document. This was also sent via email. As a 74 year old pensioner I expect respect from tradesmen visiting my house, who are always paid promptly for an honest day's work. My mistake was not to get a QUOTE in advance of the work, however Hughes said if I had, it would have been even higher, to allow for anything unforseen. I certainly would not use or recommend this plumber again. He was also paid promptly.
