Another disappointing visit to the cafe that I really want to love. We sat outside with coffee and cake, lovely surroundings, but it's as if the staff just don't want to be there, there's certainly no warm welcome. Our last visit ended up with us leaving without having eaten, they had forgotten to give the order to the kitchen even though we had paid. A little gem of a place, shame about the service.

When I give 5 stars for atmosphere it will mean a different thing for you, perhaps. I like silence & nature & the countryside. This place is that. The staff were very nice & the sausage ciabatta I had was tasty. Really good coffee too. It's a rustic cafe with a limited menu but it's absolutely perfect for where it is. Not really suited for wheelchair users due to the whole area being a bit uneven & bumpy. Parking is always (when I've been) very hit or miss. There's a few dedicated places but most people park on the verge, which frankly needs to be stopped because it's turning it into a mud bath. The cafe has indoor, outdoor & limited outdoor covered seating. It's nice to sit outside on a sunny day & listen to the birds singing.
