1st time me and my mum hired a barge for the week loved it...just be warned not that easy when the winds are high but the was only the two of us...therally enjoyed the experience

What an experience life at 4 miles an hour, stunning scenery. Nature all around, often not a car in sight. Great villages, churches pubs local shops places you would never normally see. Boats are fantastic everything you need. Very friendly boating community. Everyone at silsden boats thankyou. Such lovely friendly people. Even when we put a huge dent in boats seat railing your first question are you all OK no one hurt. Highly recommend this holiday amazing experience. Xxx

Really good boat hire company with a wide range of boats to suit parties of all sizes. The boats are clean and well maintained. Friendly staff who help make your hire holiday fun. Free customer parking right next to the boats.

Out of all the hire boats on the Leeds Liverpool canal, it's always a Silsden that rams into our boat or goes past moored boats at 5mph. Clearly they're not giving any instruction to their customers.
