Loved this place. Owners just fab. Food was scrummy. Location was so cute and so different to the other coffee shops I've seen in Sidmouth. Absolutely check this place out x

Very upsetting & unpleasant experience today. The lady serving came to find me on the street after I left & was adamant I had left without paying. I told her I paid when I ordered & let her know how much I paid. She was still adamant I hadn't paid. We returned to the cafe where she looked through her records & she found my payment! Not only had she accused me of not paying but it transpired she'd over charged me! She didn't volunteer giving me the overcharge back. It was begrudgingly given. There was no incling of an apology from her despite it all being her error. I feel really upset about it. It all would have been OK if she'd been pleasant & apologised as mistakes happen. Such a shame. Richard the owner has always been lovely. My husband & I have been there 3 times over the past month, but it was a very unpleasant experience today.
