Blue Ball Inn

Arrived as a couple, we were seated in the front bar, very cramped and tables too close together. Took 15 minutes to be asked what we would like to drink then another 5 minutes for our food order. We opted for the pork belly Bbq shared and it was delicious, so my expectations were high. When the waiter took our order I wanted the pork tomahawk but after being told it takes 40 minutes(!!!)To cook so I chose the lamb rack of ribs instead, my partner chose a medium rare steak. My 25 slow cooked lamb was inedible, far to over cooked, but seeing as the experience wasnt the best I just couldnt be bothered to complain (we were checked on once on the starter) My partners 28 medium rare steak was rare, almost bordering on blue, the steak didnt have enough time on the grill to get a sear and her chips were refried so very oily. We were going to get the cheese and crackers after but after 20 minutes of waiting for our plates to be collected we opted not to bother or offered a dessert menu I asked for the bill and left. We both had high hopes for this place as weve heard great reviews from other locals however we will not be returning.
