        Visited over the weekend with my husband as a special treat for ourselves, first night away from our two young children in a very long time. The room was perfect with amazing views and a balcony overlooking Sidmouth. The staff were all super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner and cocktails in the bar/restaurant and couldnt fault it, food was delicious as were the passion fruit martinis! The spa is lovely, and so nice to be able to use the outdoor pool even though the weather wasnt overly warm. We would definitely visit again, the perfect little relaxing getaway. Walkability: There is a path from the hotel garden/pool that leads straight out and into the town where there are great shops and places to get food.
