we enjoyed our short break food and staff exelent our only problem was our room was right at the far end on 3rd floor 322 and i have walking difficulties found it very much a problem did ask to change but told nothing available also the room carpets need a good clean stains and the sink in bathrom to close to glass shelf we would still come again but a lower floor and nearer liftoliday 31st august 5 nights thanks marjorie rayner/malcolm walker

Booked this at short notice as we were looking for a hotel in a good location with facilities such as hydrotherapy pool. Unfortunately when we arrived the spa was shut and there was no availability until after we checked out. There was also an additional 40 charge to use the pool. There was no mention of this on the website or at the time of booking that the spa would be closed and that there would a cost to use the pool. When we complained we were told it was in the small print of the confirmation email. The same email that states booking is nonrefundable. The hotel is not pet friendly, more pet tolerant as dogs are not allowed anywhere in the commual areas. Breakfast was pretty average and the veggie sausage was the worst I've tasted. Overall very disappointing for the money.
