        Nicely located in the quaint village of Wansford, this is a traditional pub with a good range of drinks. I didn't eat there, but by the number of dinners it suggests it's good. Parking: Situated on the original A1 London road, parking is free and plentiful and easy access to pub.

        Brilliant and what a location! The pub is situated close to the river nene and by the historic bridge in Wansford so ideal also for walkers using the Nene way walk. We both had the Sunday roast dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it whilst we sat in the conservatory situated to the rear of the pub. My Yorkshire pudding was really good. We could not complain about the service either. Parking is on street and there are always ample spaces. Well worth a look and it's a 30 seconds detour off the A1 on the northbound side.
